Voluntary Internship at Media-Print Informationstechnologien GmbH, Paderborn, Germany

In summer 2014, I conducted a two-month long voluntary internship at a printing company in Germany. However, this company does not only produce printing products but also serves their customers with creating advertising material etc. Within the internship, I created a print-mailing and conceptualised a social media presence for the company I was working for. Furthermore, I created a concept to launch the Paderborn-Kalender, a calendar that is produced at the company. During my whole internship, I worked independently. Moreover, all my projects were implemented by the company. The certificate of my internship can be seen here.

 

 

Work as an external PR professional for winFellows

Since the beginning of February this year, I have been working for a company in Germany, who are launching a new social network (“winFellows”) at the end of March 2015. This works includes writing press releases that are published in online magazines (e.g. for the famous computer fair in Germany CeBIT), writing emails, that are addressed at the online magazines’ editors and create a content management plan. Within this plan, I conduct research on other social networks and based on this I give advice to winFellows which channels to use themselves. Moreover, the managers of the company are still relatively unexperienced in using social networks. Therefore, I create a guide with posts they can use or take as a guideline for their own content.

The project runs until the end of March; however, working together in the future is planned. Unfortunately, at this stage of the campaign I cannot give any work examples, since the project’s launch has not happened yet.
